''A 25-year-old pedestrian has died after being hit by a vehicle in Toronto’s east end and police officers say they’re treating the incident as a homicide.
Toronto police officers said they were called to the intersection of Danforth and Cedarvale avenues, just east of Woodbine Avenue, before 4 a.m. on Sunday with reports of a collision.
Investigators said the victim was drinking at a bar in the area as a suspect was speaking with people outside of the business.
Officers alleged the suspect left, went into a vehicle and drove it into the victim as he was walking on a sidewalk.
The man was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries a short time later where he later died.''
