For the second time in as many days, an Amber Alert has been issued in Saskatchewan.

Just before 7:30 p.m. on Monday, the alert was issued on behalf of the Shaunavon RCMP for seven-year-old L and eight-year-old H.

According to the alert, the children are believed to be with Benjamin Martin Moore of Eastend. He may go by different names.

Moore, 50, is described as 5-foot-10 and 200 pounds with black hair.

Moore and the children may be travelling in a 2015 dark blue Chevy Equinox, with Alberta licence plate CGC 2492.

The mother of the children, 45-year-old Leah Potts, is believed to be travelling with them. They may have entered the United States.

Anyone who sees L, H or Leah Potts or Moore or has information about their whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately or 1-877-762-6237.

The documents say 50-year-old Benjamin Martin Moore, now of Eastend, Sask., was convicted in 2009 for sexual interference of a minor.

From the Police Report, it appears they went on the run because of police involvement and possible apprehension of the children requested from Social Services.

“While I cannot get into the specifics of the investigation – as it is ongoing and in its early stages – I can confirm that evidence was discovered, when the Shaunavon RCMP were asked to assist the Ministry of Social Services, with an investigation relating to allegations surrounding Benjamin Moore. Before police were able to question him, Benjamin, Leah and the children, had vacated their residence in Eastend. This led the Ministry to seek an apprehension order for the children; which in turn, led to us issuing the Amber Alert.

Benjamin Moore has a history of sexual offences against children, vulnerable persons and has previously been convicted of sexual interference and possession of child pornography.

Today, Saskatchewan RCMP investigators charged him with failing to report information to a registration center within 7 days after a change of main or secondary residence, as required by the Sex Offender Information Registration Act, contrary to section 490.031 of the Criminal Code of Canada. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Benjamin Martin Moore…”

Shaunavon, SK (where this lady and her partner have disappeared from) is only 230 miles/380km south of Chief Whitecap Park, SK where Dawn Dumont fled from last week.

I’m so glad they found the children I hope they are fine physically and mentally . What the heck is wrong with the mom bringing this guy into their life . Honesty what person brings a pedo into childrens lives. I hope family services watches this closely I’m not a huge fan of cfs but someone has to protect these children since the mother isn’t jmooo
