Police seeking help identifying man found dead in Hamilton in November

''The man was found 150 feet south of the Rail Trail, between Blake St. and Norway Ave. in Hamilton.

Police say on Sunday, Nov. 13, at 2 p.m., a citizen found the deceased male in the wooded area of the Rail Trail, close to 21 Ben Lomond Place.

The man had no identification and there are no missing persons matching his profile.

The man is described as a white male, between 25 to 40 years of age, with a medium build, 180lbs, six-foot, short brown straight hair with a light-coloured thin beard, and light-coloured eyes.

He had no specific scars, marks, tattoos or deformities but did have dark brown staining of teeth, a possible scar on forehead, and possible accessory left nipple.

When found, the man was wearing a black baseball cap, a green and blue windbreaker, a blue zip up sweater, a camouflage t-shirt, black jeans, and hiking boots.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at at 905-546-2406 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.''

Yes, he has been missing for 12 yrs now. He has mental health issues and is very transient. I spoke to the Det. and gave him as much information as I could. He said he doesnt feel it is him but will follow up and call me if it is. ugh. I hate these Unidentified posts.

I spoke to the OPP and it wasn't my brother. Its so sad either way. Someone else will need to make that call and have their heartbroken.
My brother choses to be estranged from family. He has never forgiven me for all the times I had him picked up by police and taken to the hospital...and there were too many. Thank you though.
