Circumstances of Disappearance:
Misurko disappeared after leaving Airdrie, Alberta, north of the Calgary area, on September 17th, 1995. He left to go to work in Fort McMurray, Alberta over 700 km away, and has never been heard from again. His vehicle was later recovered in Enderby, British Columbia but Misurko was nowhere to be found. Few details are available regarding his disappearance and his whereabouts remain unknown.

"He left Airdrie for Fort McMurray and on the way, picked up a hitchhiker. They then left Fort McMurray for Valleyview, where he was last seen. At the time of his disappearance, he was the owner of a blue 1978 Oldsmobile Omega," a police release stated.

Picking up a hitchhiker....poor kid how many times do we hear this.
Since he was heading for Valleyview, but the car was found in Enderby my guess is that whatever happened to Jason happened in the Athabasca/Athabasca river area. I'd guess whoever Jason picked up wanted to head south to Enderby, while Jason wanted to head West to Valleyview.
