Hamilton police are seeking public assistance finding a missing woman who was last seen Tuesday.

Jocelyn Kakakeway, 33, was spotted walking north on Mary St. from Rebecca St. in downtown Hamilton at 6 p.m., Feb. 9.

Kakakeway is described as five-foot-one, 110 pounds, and she has long brown hair with bangs.

Police say Kakakeway was last seen wearing a black spring jacket, dark blue jeans, black running shoes and blue/grey tuque and she was carrying a small bright yellow backpack — insufficient for the weather.

Police are asking residents to call the central staff sergeant at 905-546-4725 with any information about Kakakeway''

She last posted on fb at 5:41pm and was last seen walking in downtown Hamilton at 6pm. Unless she just left home without it or discarded it, she likely had her phone with her. Did the police look into last ping location?
