Man remains missing six months since disappearance from Comox Valley

''A man who went missing from Comox Valley remains unaccounted for over six months since his disappearance was first reported.

Comox Valley RCMP say that 45-year-old John Wesley Edwards (“Wes”) was last seen in Courtenay on March 20, 2020.

Police say he has never gone such a long period of time without contacting friends or family.

Edwards is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing approximately 145 pounds, with blonde/grey hair and blue eyes.

“We are looking for any piece of information, no matter how small it might seem, that will help us locate Wes,” said Cpl. Matt Holst, Comox Valley RCMP Major Crime Unit.''

“We are looking for any little piece of information that someone might have that could play a big part in our investigation,” she said.

Terragni says that Edwards could “be anywhere” and that he has been known to travel to Alberta.

“We just don’t know. We want to make sure he’s OK, we don’t know where he is, we don’t know what happened and we want to put the pieces together of that puzzle,” she said.
