Kerry Klyne, Missing from Manitoba since 2010.
A blog about the many missing, murdered, and unidentified Native/Indigenous/Aboriginal women of the United States and Canada. Say Their Names!
Kerry was reported missing from Winnipeg Manitoba on his 28th birthday on December 20th, 2010. He was known to be working at the Dakota Hotel at the time. The last sighting of Kerry was on November 26th, 2010 near the corner of Maryland Street and Broadway in Winnipeg. He may have been intoxicated as he had been using alcohol to cope with his mother's recent passing. When family inquired with his employer they were told he had resigned.
Though Kerry was reported missing in December, his case was not assigned an investigator until mid- January 2011. Though family were initially critical of this delay they have chosen not to fight the department on their procedures in the years since. Kerry's family believes he is likely deceased though they do not think he would have committed suicide and left behind his two daughters.
Kerry is remembered as a "jokester" who loved to laugh and play pranks on his older sisters. He was a huge ghost busters fan who made his own cosplay. His daughters were placed into foster care but have been reconnecting with family through their foster parents. Kerry remains missing.
