A non-verbal six-year-old boy who went missing in Surrey Saturday has still not been located, according to authorities, who are appealing to the public for assistance.

Surrey police searching for missing six-year-old boy
Khang Tran, who has been missing since 8 p.m. on Saturday night, was last seen wearing a blue jacket, grey pants and green shoes.
On Sunday morning, Surrey Police Service spokesperson Staff Sgt. Lindsey Houghton said that Khang Tran was last seen between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. at Northview Park in Fraser Heights.

In addition to the significant police resources currently searching for Khang Tran, the South Fraser Search and Rescue Society has been called in to assist. The RCMP’s Urban Patrol Helicopter is also assisting with the search.
