A British Columbia man, declared a long-term offender following the abduction of a three-year-old child, is appealing his seven year sentence...

In an interview with CTV, Paul Hebert, Kienan’s father, said he’s shocked by the sentence appeal. Hebert says he has forgiven Hopley, but he is worried the long-term offender will hurt others.

Paul Hebert says Kienan is doing well but continues to talk about the abduction.
