Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man last seen in Kamloops on Nov. 10, 2023.

Kyle Ferg, 32 years old, was reported missing to the Kamloops RCMP Detachment on Nov. 17, after his family failed to hear from him for more than a week and his cellphone was found in MacArthur Park.

Kyle’s family and police are concerned for his well-being, said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson. If Kyle sees this release, or someone with information on his whereabouts does, please contact the detachment as soon as possible.

He is described as:

• Caucasian male

Kyle has the following tattoos:

• The word ‘Bassanese’ on his right forearm
• ‘In God’s hands’ on his chest
• An animal on his upper right arm

Kamloops Mounties say man missing for months last believed to be in Mission Flats - Kamloops News

Kamloops Mounties are renewing calls for information in the disappearance of a 32-year-old man, with surveillance video footage now suggesting he was last in Mission Flats.

''In a news release, RCMP Cpl. Crystal Evelyn said Kyle Ferg was reported missing to the local RCMP detachment on Nov. 17, 2023. His family hadn’t heard from him for more than a week, and his cell phone was found on McArthur Island.

“Since the investigation began, police have located video footage they believe to be of Kyle, riding a bike near the pump house on Mission Flats Road, Saturday, Nov. 11, about 7:35 a.m.,” Evelyn said.

Evelyn said Mounties are releasing a photo in the hopes someone might recall seeing Ferg and be able to provide more information.

In the footage, the person believed to be Ferg is wearing a grey hoodie with a red logo on the front, a black coat, a mask or scarf, grey pants and a black backpack.''

A lengthy search for a missing Kamloops man has come to a tragic end.

Police confirmed today that 32-year-old Kyle Ferg, who was reported missing on Nov. 17, 2023, was found dead on Tuesday.

Kamloops Search and Rescue was called in to assist police in pulling the body from the river, at which point it was confirmed to be Ferg.

Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says the detachment offers its condolences to Ferg’s family and friends, adding that “no criminality is suspected” at this time.
