Longshot but maybe David Benz?

No one has heard from or seen David Benz since he left his home last Thursday, police said.

“Benz is known to frequent state forests and his vehicle may be in or near parking areas for trail heads in these types of locations,” DeWitt police said in a news release.

Benz drives a 2012 red, two-door Honda Civic car, with New York license plate number JGX3707.

“The DeWitt Police Department is actively attempting locate Mr. Benz and his vehicle and requests the public to be on the lookout for them,” the release said.

DeWitt police ask anyone with information about where Benz might be to call them at (315) 449-3640 or email [email protected], or call 911.

The “hoodie” appears to be Old Navy brand, so unfortunately I don’t think there’s anything to identify with that, that could help. I wasn’t sure if it stood for an area or something maybe regional.

A body found in Lake Erie near Long Point almost three months ago has been identified by Norfolk OPP as a missing person from Ohio.

The person’s name was not released and police said there is no suspicion of foul play. Police said no other details will be released.
