This is really amazing: http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2013/07/19/lucy-johnson-missing-found-yukon_n_3623319.html

The husband left behind apparently waited a number of years to report her missing, which cast suspicion. Glad the daughter knows what happened to her mother, and I hope she can meet her and find out why she left.

Wow, from that article: "The Surrey RCMP's Missing Persons Unit doesn't give up on unsolved cases until 100 years have passed.... The unit still has a file open on Albert Wilkinson, who went missing in 1957."

I wonder if other LE agencies are that persistent.

I often wonder in these older cases of women leaving their kids behind if DV was involved. Their husband was so bad to them they HAD to leave? IDK but back then it was much harder for a woman to leave and get custody of the kids by arguing domestic violence.

I'm willing to bet domestic violence, especially if she want missing 52 years ago.
