I’m so glad they found the children I hope they are fine physically and mentally . What the heck is wrong with the mom bringing this guy into their life . Honesty what person brings a pedo into childrens lives. I hope family services watches this closely I’m not a huge fan of cfs but someone has to protect these children since the mother isn’t jmooo

Thank God they found these kids! Let’s hope they found them before their kidnapper could harm them!

I have to wonder if the mom knew she was in a relationship with a sex offender or if he technically kidnapped her and threatened her? I guess we’ll find out.

What person brings a guy like this into their children's lives? Someone incredibly emotionally needy, possibly with substance abuse problems, and living in denial. IMO

I read one article that referred to the mother as the noncustodial parent, wasn’t sure if that was accurate, but here it is once again. I expect abduction charges will follow. The article below also states the four were found at a campground in South Dakota.

The border patrol said agents found a cut fence near the Turner Port of Entry between Saskatchewan and Montana, then notified RCMP.''

RCMP said it is working with U.S. authorities to co-ordinate Moore’s return to Canada, but no date has been confirmed. No additional charges have been laid but the investigation is ongoing, Mounties said.

''Campers say a convicted Canadian sex offender identified himself as security at a South Dakota campground, where he was staying with two children at the centre of a Saskatchewan Amber Alert with their mother.

Benjamin Martin Moore, 50, was located late Tuesday at a campground that takes part in the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in the state. Glencoe Camp Resort posted on social media that its security team assisted in locating and apprehending Moore.

The campground did not respond to a request for comment.


Brian Lester said he and his wife stay in the Glencoe campground every year when they attend the rally. He said they were surprised to see children there on Sunday because they thought it was an adults-only campground.

“I was kind of appalled,” Lester said from Sioux Falls, S.D. “I was shocked that a parent would think it’s OK to bring a kid to the rally, especially this campground.”

Lester said the children and adults didn’t have a tent and were sleeping in their car.''

''RAPID CITY, S.D. - A convicted Canadian sex offender who is alleged to have driven through a barbed wire fence at the international border with two children and their mother has pleaded not guilty to charges in the South Dakota.

Benjamin Martin Moore is charged with illegally bringing the mother and children from Saskatchewan across the border last August.

He is also faces charges for possessing and transporting computer files that contained child .''

''Moore is also facing charges in Canada for failing to report a change of address, which is required for convicted sex offenders, and breaching a previous court order to not have weapons.

He is scheduled to go to trial in the United States in June''.

''A convicted sex offender living in Saskatchewan who cut through a fence to drive across the Canada-U.S. border with two children and their mother has been sentenced to more than four years in prison in the United States.
Benjamin Martin Moore was sentenced last Friday to a 52-month term in South Dakota Court after previously pleading guilty to possession of child .
He was also sentenced to five years of supervised release and is not allowed to initiate contact with children under the age of 18.''
