Search for missing Loretteville woman continues
MONTREAL Sun Youth Organization is extending the reward for information on the whereabouts of Marilyn Bergeron, who has been missing for more than four years.
Bergeron was 24 years old when she vanished from her parents home in suburban Quebec City on Feb. 17, 2008. She had said she was going for a walk, and never returned.
That same day, she tried, unsuccessfully, to withdraw $60 from her bank account. She then used her credit card to buy a coffee at a Café Depot in St. Romauld, 20 kilometres from her parents home in Loretteville. She has not been seen since.
At the time of her disappearance, Bergeron was described as white, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 115 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. She had a tattoo of Pegasus between her right breast and shoulder.
She was wearing a long black coat with a fur hood, black suede boots with fur lining, and velour pants the last time she was seen.
The reward of up to $10,000 comes from an anonymous donor. The offer expires Jan. 13, 2013.
Anyone with information is asked to call Quebec City police at 418-641-2447.
