On Monday, Jan. 8, Kelowna RCMP received a report of concern for a person who made some “concerning comments” and could be at risk, 20-year-old Mia Saito. At that time, it was believed she was no longer in the Kelowna area. After initial investigation, it was determined Saito flew from Kelowna (YLW) to Vancouver (YVR) on Sunday, Jan. 7 and landed around 7:30 p.m. The Richmond RCMP and Metro Vancouver Transit Police are now helping with the investigation to determine her whereabouts since her arrival.
