'The car of a man reported missing as he was travelling from B.C. to Ontario with his dog has been found abandoned in Saskatchewan.
Indian Head RCMP said in a news release on Friday that the dark blue Volkswagen Golf with B.C. plate JE2 95C was found abandoned around 5 a.m. on July 26 on a grid road about four kilometres north of Vibank.
There was no sign owner 68-year-old Mitchel Austin from Cumberland, B.C., or his five-year-old black German Shepherd.'

''He has not contacted his family since July 24, which is unusual for him.

Mitchel’s vehicle was found abandoned around 5:00 a.m. this morning on a grid road approximately four kilometers north of Vibank and reported to police.

Mitchel is described as 5’10” tall, approximately 175 lbs, with hazel eyes, brown hair, and possibly a mustache. It is unknown what he was last wearing.''

There’s a lot of stuff in that car. Was he relocating to Ontario? Looks like he may have been living in his car.

He wasn't far off the path of travel from BC to ON, Hwy#1 aka Trans Canada Hwy runs coast to coast, its a simple trek. I hope he didnt pick up a hitchhiker.

ETA: Realizing, visually there's hardly any room to add a German Shepherd to the vehicle, nevermind offering someone a ride.
