The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance locating a missing woman.

Nimo Gayad, 28, was last seen on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 11:28 a.m. in the University Avenue and Gerrard Street West area.

She is described at 5'7", 130lbs., thin build, dark complexion, long dark brown hair. She was last seen wearing black sweat pants, a black hoodie tied around her waist, a grey T-shirt, black running shoes, hair tied up in a ponytail with hair scarf.

Police are concerned for her safety.''

Toronto police are searching for a 28-year-old woman who went missing almost three weeks ago

Toronto woman, considered 'dangerous', wanted in two TTC attacks

Police are seeking a 29-year-old Toronto woman in connection with two separate TTC attacks since December.

Nimo Umar Gayad, who is considered armed and dangerous, is wanted on three counts of assault, assault with a weapon, two counts of breach of probation, aggravated assault and two counts of fail to comply with release order.

In the first instance, it’s alleged a woman assaulted a victim twice on board a TTC subway car in the area of Bloor station on Dec. 2 around 5:20 p.m.

In the second incident, it’s alleged a woman assaulted a victim on board a TTC bus in the Keele St. and Donald Ave. area on March 26 around 11:40 p.m.

If Gayad is found, call 9-1-1 and do not approach.
