73 year old father became furious when his 13 year old daughter failed to clean the kitchen to his satisfaction.

He slapped her across the face then left the room.

Moments later after hearing a strange noise, he returned to the kitchen. His daughter had collapsed and was bleeding profusely from her nose. The slap had caused her head to move quickly enough that a vital artery was severed. She died in hospital just a few days later.

A Quebec man who slapped his teenage daughter to death after she failed to finish her chores has been sentenced to 60 days in jail.

Moussa Sidime is expected to serve his time two days a week over 30 weeks, plus two years of probation. He was reportedly emotional during the sentencing on Wednesday in court in Longueuil, south of Montreal.
