Missing for 7 years: Police asking for tips to find this man

''Edmonton police are asking for the public's help to find a man who hasn't been seen since 2014.

Nowell Halfe, 52, is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighs approximately 160 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Investigators and Halfe's family are concerned for his wellbeing.

He was reported missing in Camrose in 2019. After determining that he had spent time in Edmonton, the file was transferred to the Edmonton Police Service in June 2020.

EPS's Missing Persons Unit determined that Halfe's last known contact was in January 2014.

Investigators are not sure if foul play is involved and are asking for the public's help to locate him.

''Through their investigation, EPS was able to confirm that the last known contact anyone had with Halfe was in January 2014 in Edmonton.

Police describe Halfe as having brown hair, hazel eyes, five foot 10 inches tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds. He also typically has facial hair.

Due to the time since he was last seen, investigators and family are concerned for Halfe’s well-being, police said, and are hoping the public may have information about his location.

Police said it is unknown whether foul play is involved in his disappearance.

Halfe was also the subject of a 2004 warning from EPS after he was released from the Edmonton Institution. Police at the time said he was violent and had a history of sexually assaulting women.
