The Timmins Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a person who has been reported to them as missing on August 30th, 2022.


The Timmins Police Service would like to determine the current whereabouts and confirm the wellbeing of Kerri-lee NAKOCHEE, 27, who has not contacted family members as expected.


She is described as:


– an Indigenous female person


– 5’5 tall / thin build


– 27 years old


– brown hair


– brown eyes

This is so sad. There are no updates that I can find.

The original news article which was posted above - has been republished as of today - with nothing changed or updated in it.

My heart goes out to her family members who must be feeling anguish at not hearing from her since last month.

Hopefully the police will receive some tips that may help with the search.

The Timmins Police Service is advising that Kerri-Lee NAKOCHEE, 27, of Timmins, who had been the subject of a “missing persons” incident has been located.

NAKOCHEE was located and her well-being has been confirmed by the Timmins Police Service.

This matter is deemed to be a closed incident with no further police action required.

The Timmins Police Service is thankful to the general public for their assistance in regards to this matter.
