Upper Ottawa Valley OPP executed a search warrant for 49-year-old Pembroke man.​

On the evening of September 14, 2023, the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP carried out a warrant in Pembroke. They collaborated with several specialized units, including the Tactics and Rescue Unit, Emergency Response Team, K9 unit, UOV Crime Unit, and the Community Street Crime Unit.

They were looking for Anthony Kargus, a 49-year-old Pembroke resident. The operation concluded smoothly, resulting in Kargus’s arrest without any incidents. It should be highlighted that Kargus not only had an existing outstanding warrant but has also been charged with failing to appear in court.
