Pascal Ricard was last seen March 25, 2015; his abandoned vehicle found two days later in St-Eustache:

Municipal workers discovered Ricard's corpse inside a plastic bag while working in a wooded area near the intersection of Highway 13 and Chemin de la Grande Côte.

Police say evidence found at the scene led them to believe Ricard's death was a homicide.

There doesn't seem to be any more information about this case in the newspapers since he was found in 2016.

On a Facebook page in French (Canada) for "support for families of missing and murdered persons" I did find a moving post by his parents, posted on 26 mars 2020, five years after he went missing. There is a mentioning that no suspects have been found.
