Favel went missing from downtown Regina, Saskatchewan on September 30, 1984. She was last seen around 10:30 p.m., getting into a small red or orange, Japanese-made car, possibly a Datsun or Toyota, driven by an unidentified male. She has never been heard from again.
At the time of her disappearance, Favel was struggling with drug addiction, and worked in the sex industry to support herself. Her family reported it was unusual for her to stay out all night, and it was especially uncharacteristic for her to leave her son. Despite investigations and searches conducted, Favel was never located. Her whereabouts remain unknown.
