NamUs #UP122382 - Matches for estimated height and age. Remains were located in a shed in Texas on 20 Apr. 2024. I never rule out a match just based on distance. What's most intriguing with this UID is the clothing that was found with the remains, which includes a black puffer vest that reminds me of the black coat or vest Mr. Jimenez was wearing in the picture on his missing person profile. Also, the ethnicity or race of the remains says "Black / African American, Hispanic / Latino, American Indian / Alaska Native, Uncertain", so I think there's some uncertainty there and it's possible the UID was an admixture. The UID had "a healed fracture on the pinky-side of the palm of the left hand, which may have resulted in associated soft tissue changes that were noticeable during life." I wonder if there's any information out there about a matching injury Mr. Jimenez may have had?
