Can't believe this is still happening. I say it everytime. We've had very hot weather the last few days for this time of year. I was so hot walking home with a light sweater and jeans.

You would think that a safety device could be installed somehow, like the beep you get if someone hasn't secured the car door.

Police said the accused, identified as Zeljna Kosovac, was placed into custody on Thursday and appeared in court on Friday.
She was released on $5,000 bail, ordered to surrender her passport and cannot have contact with children under the age of 14.

I wonder how this happened. Was she supposed to be taking him somewhere and just forgot? Did she leave him in the car thinking she'd be right back, but got distracted? I just don't understand.

Don't quote me but I swear I read a news article that said she was dropping off other kids to school and then went back with the little one to the home.
I will try to find it when I have better wifi
