Circumstances of Disappearance
Paddon was last seen near the Upper Stewiacke and Riversdale areas of Colchester County in November of 1969. He was hunting with his father and uncle and had told his uncle he was going to cross a road in the woods. He went across the road but has never been seen again. Despite extensive searches in a 72.5-square-kilometre area, Paddon was never located and his whereabouts remain unknown.

poor boy I can't imagine how he disappeared so fast... maybe a bear or several bears some abyss or cliff... or maybe it was assisted suicide maybe he took his body somewhere else after shooting himself...
