2nd UPDATE: Missing Male – New Neighbourhood Search
The Regina Police Service is expanding its neighbourhood search area in efforts to locate a 19 year-old male, who has not been seen since Saturday, November 17, 2018. He expanded search area now includes the area of 3rd Avenue and Arthur Street in Regina, which is the Rosemont/Transcona neighbourhood.
Nineteen year-old Promise (Max) CHUKWUDUM (pronounced CHOO-KO-DOOM) is described as male, approximately 5’ 11” tall, weighing 240 pounds, medium build, with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, light colored sweatpants, and a dark-colored toque. (Photo attached.) Promise (Max) CHUKWUDUM was last seen in the area of Marshall Crescent in Regina, in the early morning hours of Saturday, November 17, 2018. He has not been seen since, nor has he had contact with family or friends. This is considered very unusual behavior for him and there is concern for his well-being.
As part of police efforts to locate CHUKWUDUM, uniformed officers and members of Search and Rescue Regina (SARR) are conducting a sweep of the area of 3rdAvenue and Arthur Street. Residents of the area can expect to see uniformed Regina Police Service members, walking from house to house and, in some cases, entering into yards to check to see if there is any sign that a person may have entered a shed, garage or other structure on the property. SARR search leaders can be identified by their orange vests, with neon green on the right sleeve. SARR members also have credentials which they will produce for homeowners upon request. In the event that owners and residents in this neighbourhood are not at home when police and SARR members are in the area, the Regina Police Service is asking all residents to take a few minutes to check their yards, outbuildings, fences and shrubbery to ensure that nothing has been disturbed or looks out of place.
Anyone with information that could assist police in locating Promise (Max) CHUKWUDUM is asked to contact the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500, or your local law enforcement agency, or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
