Rob Vicente has been missing from Davidson, Saskatchewan since October 9-10, 2010. He is from Bladworth, SK, which is 17 km north of Davidson, but he works in Davidson as a supervisor at a chemical plant. Davidson is 114 km south of Saskatoon, SK, the biggest city in the province.
His burnt out car was found October 12, 29 km west of Davidson. The buildings around the car were burnt, too. Police and cadaver dogs have been searching three properties, two belonging to the grandmother of one of the last people to see Rob alive.

"On the weekend of his disappearance, Vicente went to his uncle's house in Bladworth to watch the Saskatchewan Roughriders game on television with relatives and friends. That evening of Saturday, Oct. 9, Prpick and his wife went home at about 10 p.m. Vicente, two cousins and a friend headed to Davidson.
The events of the next several hours are unclear, but at 3:30 a.m. Sunday, Vicente and three others arrived at the Davidson Shell gas station.
Vicente appeared "drunk" but not in an unusual mood, said gas attendant Devin Tanghe. Although the group rode in Vicente's car, he and a female friend were in the back seat. Two men in the front seat got out and purchased some pop and chips, while Tanghe talked with Vicente through the car window.
Tanghe said it was clear the group, which included one man who'd spent time in prison recently, had been driving around town while drinking, a popular practice known as "booze cruising."
"I did chat with him a bit when they stopped by. He seemed happy," Tanghe said.
According to Tanghe and others, in the days following Vicente's disappearance, the man with the criminal record who had been sitting in the front seat of the car was attempting to sell an expensive car stereo system identical to Vicente's. Police have been unable to locate the man, Tanghe and others said....
Last Wednesday, three days after Vicente was last seen, farmer Kevin Ouellette and another farmer drove to a farmyard 25 kilometres west of Davidson when they saw flames in the distance. They arrived to find a burned-out vehicle, still smouldering. When they saw the flames spreading across the grass toward a stubble field, they grabbed shovels and piled dirt on the fire to extinguish it.
RCMP later confirmed it was Vicente's car.
Ouellette is at a loss to explain the car's appearance in the yard, land owned by his brother-in-law.
He said his brother-in-law doesn't know Vicente. Also, Ouellette said he was in the yard doing farm work on the Sunday afternoon after Vicente disappeared, and the car was not there at the time.
"There was no reason for it to be there. It was totalled -- it looks like someone poured gas on it," Ouellette said."

Saturday, Oct. 9, 3 p.m. -- Robert Joseph Vicente, a 25-year-old chemical plant manager from the town of Bladworth, watches the Saskatchewan Roughriders game on television at this uncle's home in Bladworth with friends and relatives. Vicente, some cousins and a friend leave for nearby Davidson at about 9 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 10, 3:30 a.m. -- Vicente's 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt LT pulls up to the Davidson Shell gas station. An apparently intoxicated but happy Vicente is in the back seat with a female friend, according to a Shell attendant. Two men in the front seat go inside and bring out drinks and chips, and the car drives off.
Sunday, Oct. 10, afternoon -- Family and friends begin to worry when Vicente does not answer text messages and misses a family dinner.
Wednesday, Oct. 13, noon hour -- Kevin Ouellette and another farmer spot a fire in a neighbour's yard. Vicente's car is completely charred and still smoking. Police ask Ouellette if he noticed any evidence of gasoline or other accelerant in the yard.
Friday, Oct. 15, 8 p.m. -- Dozens of Vicente's relatives and friends gather at Barclay's Bar in Bladworth to organize a search.
Saturday, Oct. 16, morning -- More than 100 searchers and trained dogs set out from the Davidson SARCAN on foot and horseback, in cars, trucks and all-terrain vehicles.
Tuesday, Oct. 19 -- The search continues. Vicente has not been located. RCMP have termed the disappearance "suspicious," but say they have no suspects at this point.

Vicente was last seen in the early morning of Oct. 10 at a gas station in Davidson. (RCMP)Police said there are wells on the property being searched in Davidson, just off Highway 44. The wells were being probed with remote underwater camera equipment and divers were on hand.

Police remained at the scene for several hours Tuesday. Late Tuesday afternoon, RCMP said they couldn't comment on whether they'd be back today to resume searching.

The current probe has ended, but for three days this week, RCMP officers searched properties near the town of Davidson in the hopes of finding the 25-year-old's body.
