OPP search for missing 28-year-old man who may be in Barrie, Dufferin, Orillia areas

OPP say they’re searching for a missing 28-year-old man who was last seen on the night of Aug. 4.

''Ryan Beaudoin was reported missing on Aug. 6 after he was last seen at about 10 p.m. two days prior in Cochrane, Ont.

Police are concerned for Beaudoin’s well-being and believe he may be in the Barrie, Dufferin or Orillia areas.

Beaudoin is described to be five-foot-ten in height, 180 pounds with an athletic build, brown hair and brown eyes. Police say he has a distinctive tattoo on his right forearm and hand.

Beaudoin also has ‘Hasta La Victoria Siempee 705’ tattooed on his upper chest, a half-sleeve of feathers, a devil and flames on his right forearm to hand, guns with a skull on his upper back and a Canadian flag with a hockey stick on his right shoulder.

I wonder whether he left angry/upset when he was last seen at 10pm. If they think he left the area why would they conduct a search in the location described in the article linked below?

In an Aug. 15 news release, police confirmed there is a large scale search underway with officers from the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and approximately 50 civilian searchers. The search area is located at Highway 652 and Murphy road about 15 km east of Cochrane.

OPP officers on scene said they initially didn't intend to play an active role in the community effort since their initial search lead them to believe Ryan left his residence in a pickup truck.

But officers said additional information has come to their attention that's leading them to search other parts of the area.

I am also concerned by the "additional information." Unfortunately, it seems like something happened to Ryan, but I'm glad that LE is taking this seriously.
