Circumstances of Disappearance:
Lingman was last seen 43 miles northwest of Nakina, Onatrio on November 1, 1960. Several men working in the Auden area left camp to complete work and were to return to camp by the end of the day. Lingman was last seen staking his mining claims in a dense bush area about 2.5 miles from Gripp Lake. He failed to return to camp and has never been heard from again. Despite extensive searches including the aid of ground and air searches, Lingman was never located. His whereabouts remain unknown.
