Toronto police have set up a command post as they search for a missing 24-year-old man in Willowdale.

Shanjeyen Mariampillai was last seen in the area of Bathurst Street and Finch Avenue at around 4:30 p.m.
Police said they are concerned for Mariampillai’s safety because he was not dressed properly for the weather and has very poor communication skills. He may also have difficulty understanding others

Mariampillai is described as standing around four-foot-seven and weighing around 165 pounds. He has short, black hair and is clean-shaven. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweat pants, black t-shirt and black sneakers.

A command post has been set up at Willowdale Middle School at 225 Senlac Road as police search for the missing man. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is being asked to contact police.
