''Suado Egal had last been seen at about 11 a.m. on Tuesday in the Alta Vista area. “Police and her family are concerned for her safety and well-being,” a media release on Thursday said.

Egal was described as a black woman standing five feet five inches (165 centimetres) tall with long curly black hair and dark brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing all black clothing.

The police media release said Egal could be in the Gatineau or Ottawa area.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts was asked to call the Ottawa Police Service at 613-236-1222. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 or online at crimestoppers.ca.

(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service Missing Persons Unit is advising the community that the missing 34-year-old woman was located deceased by the OPP.

The identity of the deceased woman was confirmed through forensic identification.

No evidence of foul play has been identified.

We want to thank the public and media for their efforts to locate her.
