Investigators with the York Regional Police #2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking witnesses after a vehicle was set on fire at a residence in the City of Richmond Hill. On Saturday, June 10, 2023, at approximately 1:15 a.m., police were called to a home on Estoril Street in the area of Berwick Crescent and 16th Avenue, for a report of a fire. Three adult females were asleep in the residence at the time when one of them heard noises coming from outside. When she opened the garage door, she saw her silver Subaru Crosstrek fully engulfed in flames in the driveway. Richmond Hill Fire and Emergency Services extinguished the fire. Fortunately, no one was injured''

On June 10 at about 1:15 a.m., police were called to a home on Estoril Street, near Berwick Crescent and 16th Avenue, for a report of a fire.
Three women were asleep in the house when one of them heard noises coming from outside. When she opened the garage door, she saw her silver Subaru Crosstrek fully engulfed in flames in the driveway, according to police.
No one was physically injured in the fire, which was extinguished by Richmond Hill Fire and Emergency Services, YRP said.
Surveillance video obtained by police shows a person pour liquid over the car before setting it on fire and running northbound on Estoril Street, police said.
The suspect is described by police as a man with a medium build wearing a hooded jacket or vest with different coloured long sleeves, dark pants and white running shoes.''
