Tyler Fillmore was reported missing to police around 9:45 a.m. Sunday. Police say his vehicle was found off John A. Trenholm Road later that day and some of his belongings were found on a wooded trail nearby. A ground search and rescue team, as well as police dog services and local firefighters, searched the Port Elgin area Sunday evening. An extensive search for a missing man was underway in the Port Elgin, N.B. area on Nov. 27, 2017. Search crews were joined by an RCMP helicopter and dive team, as well as the Department of Fisheries and Ocean, on Monday.

The Upper Cape, N.B. man is described as Caucasian, with red hair and green eyes. He is five-foot-seven inches tall and weighs 142 pounds, with a slim build.

He is missing from Port Elgin N.B., not Ontario. I'll see if a mod can correct the header.

I hope that he is safe and will be found soon.

Human remains discovered along Timber River near Port Elgin on May 5 have been positively identified as those of 28-year-old Tyler Fillmore, say Southeast District RCMP.

Fillmore, a father of four from Upper Cape, about 15 kilometres west of Port Elgin, was reported missing to police on Nov. 26.
Foul play is not suspected in his death, but the investigation is continuing, Sgt. Paul Gagné said in a news release on Wednesday.
