Rosthern RCMP seek missing senior with medical condition

RCMP said he has a medical condition that can cause mood changes and confusion.

He is known to frequent the area around the communities of Rosthern and Waldheim.

Falk is described as five-foot eight and 178 pounds.

He may be wearing a long-sleeve plaid shirt, with a blue and white hat, and dark pants. He wears prescription glasses, but may have large sunglasses overtop.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Rosthern RCMP at 306-232-6400.

...Victor Falk was last seen Aug. 14 in Rosthern, at the assisted living home where he was living. Richard Janzen said his father-in-law went out for a walk.

"It was not unusual for him to be out for a walk. It was unusual for him to be out after supper," he said.

Janzen said Falk has Alzheimer's disease but never wandered far from his home, and did not have access to a vehicle.

Victor FALK was last seen in Rosthern, SK, after being dropped off outside of his residence in the early evening of August 14, 2018. At that time, Victor appeared to be aware of his surrounding and knew where he lived. Victor has not been seen, or been in contact with friends or family since. Victor does not have access to a vehicle, and likely departed on foot or in the company of others.
