Carmen Rivera murder

She was my grandmother, whom I never got the chance to meet, because on November, 1st 1980 in Hayward, California, my grandmother, Carmen Rivera was stabbed 33 times. The knife broke off inside her body, shortly before her murder, witnesses place my grandmother inside a restraunt, when a man dressed as an old lady came into the restraunt approached my grandmother, & whispered something to her. No one knows what was said, but my grandmother got up and rushed out of the restraunt and the man dressed as an old lady chased after her. My grandmother was murdered just blocks from the restraunt, stabbed multipal times. Her murder is still unsolved, i called the Hayward police department and tried to have the case reopenend, hoping evidence in her case could be tested. Unfortunatly, because it was 1980 when she was murdered, her evidence was put in paper bags, and a water pipe burst flooding the evidence room in the Hayward police department destroying all the evidence in her case. Our family wants answers, my dad was only 12 when he lost his mom, and he's still messed up because of it to this day! If anyone has any suggestions on what can be done to bring our family the answers we need, it would be much appriceated!!!

I knew your grandmother when I was a kid and I know what happened to her and who killed her, but at the time of her death I was around 10 years old and I was told to keep my mouth shut or I would get into trouble. But I'm not a kid anymore and I want to tell you about it, but I want to keep this between us and not everyone else to know what really happened to her and I am so glad that I can tell you about it. I have a suspect who likes to dress as an old woman, he is a serial killer. He is more than likely the same man who tried to abduct Carmen from the mall. I was in contact with the cop who saved her that day. This killer changes his MO often, he has used guns and knives. He is still alive and has not stopped killing! He wrote letters stating he would start to kill small children, because they are easy to kill! This killer is about 5 ft 9 180 pounds, boot size 10 and a half and extremely wide! He has lots of pock mark scars on both sides of his face and neck. His hair was brown and curly, he has some gray in his hair now. His pants are always pleated and very baggy. His favorite Jacket is a faded black Derby style. His eyes are hazel and his face is paralyzed on one side. He has a lazy eye. He was working in construction in Contra Costa County Ca. He is about 87 years old. Very strong and seemed pretty healthy.
