I'm not finding anything even close to this guy in any of the records so far. Such an unusual name it seems. The is an R W born in 1969. Right age maybe to be a son?

The name seems to be perhaps Ukrainian or Polish or Lithuanian. maybe? Perhaps he was an immigrant?

Anybody have any suggestions? Any way to find out more about his circumstances from the ME. Was he homeless? Known in the community?

1.) Was this a homeless person? or did he have a residence of some sort.
2.) Was he known to anyone in the community, if so, who and in what context (church, shelter, anything).
3.) If someone did know him, did he speak with an accent or seem to be from another country?
4.) Did he tell anyone anything about himself?
5.) was he born in this country for sure or was he a naturalized citizen?
6.) what were the circumstances in which he was found?

Circumstances
Traffic related fatality of Hwy 17 in McClellanville, SC. Mr. Carpick is believed to have been hitchhiking from Florida to Pennsylvania. No next of kin found.

I found the surname of Carpick in Canada

I found some Carpicks in Pennsylvania as well. There is an Ernest born in 1931. And there is a Robert who has lived there as well, who was born in 1969. Might be a nephew or son.

But it is reaching. I can't directly tie them to OUR Mr. Carpick yet.
