A year ago, a body was found in the park near me in a bank (Arthur and Betty Verhaeghe Park OPKS). A backpack was first found by volunteer cleaners and then the body was discovered a small distance away. News articles on the case stated that parents were informed and no foul play was suspected but wouldn’t release the name of the body found. What doesn’t make sense to me is the fact that I would wonder off trail multiple times a week exactly where the body was found and know I would’ve seen it. The backpack found was also nearby in a more open field. I have suspicions that the body was dumped as there is no way no one noticed it until it decayed into a skeleton. Maybe you’ll have better luck than me figuring this out.
