"The proposed pipeline will cross the Mni Wiconi water pipeline twice. The Mni Wiconi is a major water source for Rosebud, Pine Ridge and Lower Brule reservations, and officials on those reservations have said they are concerned about the safety of the crossings."

I just cant beleive this! Its all around us here! They are going ahead here to mine uranium! The pipeline is already mostly in place for the oil. Halliburtan is drilling oil in the national forrest here too. Man!

Sounds like a terrible idea.

From this article there are pictures that you can go to and watch a slide show. A photographer went over the Alberta oil sands in a plane and took pictures. They are really interesting. And it is sad that a company is doing this to such a beautiful landscape.
