The Ravenel Bridge is shut in both directions Thursday afternoon because of a possible jumper. Traffic on I-526 and I-26 heading toward Mt. Pleasant is backed up for miles.

The "bomber" part is rumor at this point.

According to the Coast Guard, the person was in a car and threatening to jump. A traffic camera shows police cars surrounding the man's car.

A reader-submitted photo shows police surrounding a white sports utility vehicle with the words, "Game Over, Stay Away and Happy Now" scrawled in white soap on the windows.
