Cheryl was last seen at work at Rhodes Pump-Ur-Own Station self-service gas station in Scott City, Missouri on April 17, 1979. She disappeared between 11:40 - 11:50 AM. Cheryl's purse was left behind in the store, and her car, with the keys inside, was in the parking lot. Approximately $480 was missing from the cash register. Authorities believe that Cheryl was abducted by unknown persons during a robbery. But there were no witnesses. Cheryl has never been found.
