A violent gang dragged a Chicago-area couple out of their car on Saturday night and shot them both.

The incident took place in Chicago's Humboldt Park as the family was reportedly leaving the city's 43rd annual Puerto Rican People's Day Parade.

I'm confused. The news source says the man died and woman survived but the post says woman died and man survived. Which is it?

The woman initially survived the attack, but succumbed to her critical injuries, and died yesterday ( Tues) . The man was pronounced dead at the scene I believe. Horrible horrible crime
