Police seek assistance locating missing Bradford man

Police are seeking the public’s assistance locating a man who went missing from Bradford on Tuesday, June 12.

South Simcoe police say 46-year-old Christian Robinson was last seen leaving his house around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Police have described Robinson as a man, approximately five-feet-10-inches tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds. He has short, light brown hair

According to police, he was last seen wearing a grey golf shirt with a yellow and white pattern covering the chest area, grey shorts, flip-flops and glasses.

Police are concerned for Robinson’s well-being. Anyone with information is asked to please contact local police or South Simcoe Police Service at 905-775-3311 or 705-436-2141. Information can also be provided anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS)."

BRADFORD - South Simcoe Police Service officers are renewing their public appeal for information on the whereabouts of a missing Bradford man.

Christian Robinson was last seen leaving his house around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12, 2018. He has not been seen or heard from since.


Robinson is 46 years old, white, 5’10”, 180 lbs, with short, light brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a grey golf shirt with yellow and white pattern covering the chest area, grey shorts, flip flops and glasses.

In a brief statement released through the South Simcoe Police Service, Andrea Buettner begs her fiance to come home.

“Please, if you can see this, your family needs you. Please come home or let someone know you are OK and alive. We love you and miss you,” said Buettner.

South Simcoe police say the search is ongoing. Officers have conducted an extensive background check and have been monitoring his financial and phone records.

Subsequently, officers have checked locations and canvassed businesses in Bradford in order to locate him. Investigators have also alerted Canada Customs and border crossings are being monitored.

South Simcoe Police Service officers are issuing a fresh appeal for information to mark the one-year anniversary of a Bradford man's disappearance.

"We are renewing our appeal for information to help solve this mystery. It has been an agonizing year for Mr. Robinson's family members who need answers. It's never too late to come forward with information, even if you think it is insignificant. Let us make that determination," said Det. Const. Ivan Coulter.

The missing person file remains open and police are hopeful that reaching out to the public again will generate new leads.

One year on, Christian Robinson is still missing

South Simcoe Police are renewing their appeal for information regarding the disappearance of 46 year old Christian Robinson of Bradford.

He was last seen leaving his home in the 6th Line and Simcoe Street area around 3:30 p.m. a year ago June 12th.

Despite an exhaustive investigation there has been no trace of him.

Robinson is 5"10', 180 pounds, with short, light brown hair.
