Christopher Carroll disappeared on October 30, 2012. While from Rhode Island, he was on temporary assignment as an executive with his company in Paris at the time he vanished. His intention was to avoid his child support obligations
and he is currently the 3rd most wanted deadbeat according to the US HHS:

Since he disappeared, he has renounced his US citizenship and is now traveling on an Irish passport, which he received through post-nuptial declaration, and using Bitcoin to travel. (At the time of his disappearance, bank records show he had transferred significant sums to Net-Gold Services Limited and Bitfloor, Inc.) He and his wife, a Canadian citizen, have been around the world, with a last known whereabouts of Peru, where they departed for Argentina, as seen in the posts here by a traveling companion and his wife's Airbnb review. All information stops at that point.
