Details of Disappearance​

Quenzler was last seen on October 31, 1978, leaving Pelican Yacht Harbor in Sausalito, California. He was on his boat, the Sea Scamp, a white 39-foot concrete-hulled ketch with a blue deck. Quenzler took the boat out on the water unexpectedly and has never been heard from again. Few details are available in his case.

I can imagine that this man committed suicide... as I always say, you have to be very brave to do it... but wouldn't he have children? a wife? a mother, a father, brothers? who could help him, talking to him knowing that he was deeply depressed... perhaps he could have thought about it better... he lacked support, probably a hug would make him react and change his mind or think about it better...
