The area where she was last seen always has lots of homeless folks hanging around because there are a lot of services in that area (a day labor business, a “pay-what-you-can” restaurant, a food bank, a resource center for transgender individuals, etc. It’s not near the homeless youth shelter, but it is near a bus stop for a free shuttle that does a loop around Denver to various shelters and resource centers.
Overnight Tues into Wed, Denver had its first notable snowstorm of the season, so outreach teams would have been encouraging folks to seek shelter for the night. One hope is that Bella entered the shelter system and just hadn’t been properly recorded.
