She seems to go by Chris. LE finally found the man she was last seen with and I’m not sure anything came from that, hopefully they have some new leads and just keeping quiet. Someone thought they saw her 3 days ago in CO springs, a stranger who had seen her posters thought it might be her.
Fingers crossed for new info soon, I hope she’s alive and okay

Various local musicians used Facebook to spread memories about Pierce. JS posted the following on Oct. 27:

"I remember the first time I met Christine. Playing for a Santana cover band just killing it on the bongo drums! I remember shaking her hand and thinking I was holding the hand of a brick mason from all the calluses from playing drums for so many years. She inspired me so many times to be a better person and musicians and absolutely lives to perform. She never said no to a song, a gig or a friend in need. Her can-do attitude, strength, skill and passion serve as an inspiration to us all!"

A Facebook group, "Where is Christine Pierce?" was set up on Oct. 21 and collects well wishes, news footage about the search and any new tips. As of press time, the group (facebook.com/groups/423102205343709) has over 900 members. Krewson, who is leading the civilian side of the search, posted an update on Dec. 14 stating that Pierce's family had moved her belongings from her apartment purely to keep them somewhere more secure.

This publication contacted the Colorado Springs Police the week of Dec. 11 for comment. The department's public affairs section stated that as of this time, they have no new information for public release. Krewson said ... that the private investigator has gone through most of the information that the civilians have also examined.

"The police have been working with the family and they have maintained that they have been making significant progress," Krewson said. "But with their inability to comment on active investigations, they haven't provided any details about what that might look like. ...

Krewson also confirmed that a private investigator is still looking into the disappearance on behalf of Pierce's family. The (funding) page to raise money for the private investigator costs is still active, and as of press time has raised over $6,800 of its $10,000 goal.

Checking in to see if there's anything new in Christine's disappearance.
When she first went missing I followed her case for quite some time. There was never anything much about her. I haven't checked in a long time.
Sadly there's still nothing new.
If I recall correctly Christine had cashed a check that day.
If robbery was the motive it's unlikely they'd have killed her and hid her body so well. Unless they knew her and worried about DNA.
Given the lack of information. I wonder how much of a priority the Police gave Christine's case?
Hopefully for her friends and family she'll be found soon.

Woman missing for 10 months recently seen in Texas Panhandle

According to Amarillo Police Department, Christine Pierce was last seen on July 29 at CEFCO in Panhandle at about 12:33 p.m. and Allsups in White Deer at about 1:30 p.m. She was helped by a good samaritan in Panhandle, who later saw her in the missing person database.

Pierce was last seen wearing a faded pink robe that zips in the front, black clothing, black Nike shoes, a black backpack and black fanny pack with a gold zipper.

She was also carrying a gallon of water on her wrist.

Amarillo Police asking for help to find missing person out of Colorado Springs
APD said she may have possible dementia or amnesia and called herself David and said she was headed to Arkansas.

That's great news. I hope she is found soon because of this sighting. But how exactly does one carry a gallon of water "on their wrist"?
ETA maybe they meant waist, like some kind of camelbak/ water bladder?

Just a couple of thoughts :

1 - There is a post on the Where is Christine Pierce ? FB group from BK on August 2 which elaborates on the "sighting" information. BK is Christine's friend and bandmate and has been searching for her since the beginning.

2 - If this was Christine, both sightings were at convenience stores / gas stations. I'm curious if LE have checked for video images of this person on that date. That would answer a lot of questions regarding validity of the sighting IMO.
