Info below on the new-ish Colorado Missing Indigenous Person Alert for those like me who are not aware. It appears that its just a missing persons alert like any other except that the subject is an indigenous person. Not clear why a separate alert type is necessary.

Interesting side note, the alert can be issued when LE "has reason to believe" a person is indigenous, rather than actually having verified such as fact.

This isn't what I would consider a rough neighborhood. The newer outlet mall draws a customer base from a wider area than most other stores in the area and, probably, also a customer base that includes a decent proportion that are in her age group.

She is unfamiliar with Colorado, as she lived in Montana and Wyoming. Does the 16 year old now live with her family in Colorado?

Regarding the address where she was last seen, which is correct: the missing poster, or the news?
