Could you tell me what is the email address of the person in charge of this case? I have a possible match and would like to submit it.
They do not respond.

They stopped responding to me about this case 3 years ago. Don’t expect any sort of response. I contacted the missing persons detective, not the unidentified person. Sorry @carbuff this message was for @John/Jane Doe

It's nice to see an actual response. So many of the potentials I submit are barely even acknowledged.
I’ve submitted hundreds over the years and have maybe gotten 25 responses.

This doe's NAMUS page has been updated, it looks like a full page of rule outs were added between yesterday and today. I do not see Vernon Jalo on that list and they have a striking resemblance:

He also has new reconstructions (front and profile view) and an age regression to show him at 15-17. 454_206558.webp

I have his autopsy report, if there is interest or if anyone thinks it could be valuable I can post it here.
did you ever post this/do you still have it? i saw someone mention they submitted vernon jalo as a potential match. curious if there’s any mention of missing/chipped teeth and/or any mention of drugs in the system?

I have a general question - what leads to a Doe like this one having so many rule outs, when some Does never have any updates or rule outs? Is it purely a function of having DNA on file and DNA is missing for the majority of Does, or does a large number of ruleouts indicate special interest or work being done on this case?

Sorry for multiple posts. Has anyone ever been able to identify "Sprucewood Express" as a motocross brand? I can't find anything about it online at all.

the closest thing i could find is a bar in Denver, CO called the Sprucewood Inn, which gets majority of their business from bikers/motocross/etc, per this article from 1972. I found their Facebook page and that seems to still be their main audience.

I also found a couple of 'Sprucewood' shirts for sale online, all from the 90s but none that fit the description of the UIDs. I attached a photo of one of the shirts I found.

I don't know if it would be helpful to reach out to them to see if they have any record of shirts made in the 80s/90s, etc. and see if there's one that matches?

Sorry for multiple posts, but I started researching LGBTQ+ history in Colorado and found information about the leather community there in the 90s. specifically about leather biker clubs like the Rocky Mountaineers Motorcycle Club. i think it's entirely possible this UID was part of that subculture and might have been in one of these clubs because of the shirt he was wearing and the circumstances of discovery.
