#Missing #AtRisk Jackson is 16 years old. He was last seen near 5416 South Riviera Way yesterday at approximately 3:30 p.m.

He is 5'6" tall, 140 pounds and has long blonde hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing (a shown in below surveillance image) a blue hoody with New York on the front, blue jeans and shoes.

He has a #DevelopmentalDisability and may be a risk to himself. He may not communicate if contacted. Please Call 911 if seen. @CBI_Colorado

APD is actively looking for him, and ask for your assistance by be aware, and sharing this post.

We will update here with any changes or additions to the status of this search.

There is no suspicion of foul play.

UPDATE 4/6/19 5:00 p.m.:

It is with heavy heart we report Jackson has ended his life. Our hearts are heavy for Jackson’s family, friends, schoolmates, teachers and everyone who knew him during this tremendous loss.

Right now, we are focused on helping Jackson’s family in this difficult time, and are providing all the resources we have available. Please respect their privacy as they handle the very difficult days ahead of them. The Cherry Creek School District will be providing assistance to students and staff as well.

Coping with this loss may very well be the hardest challenge faced, and grief can be particularly difficult. We would encourage everyone impacted by this loss, or any loss, to please not bottle up the feelings you are experiencing, reach out. You can call the Rocky Mountain Crisis Team at 844-493-TALK or use any available resource you already have in place.

This is the third Cherry Creek student to take their own life this year. Students had just held a walkout Friday related to the one in February:
